The Washboard Union performed May 4 to a sold out house at the Wingham Town Hall Theatre. The show, originally scheduled for Jan 31/22 had to be rescheduled due to Ontario’s Covid restrictions. Previous ticket purchases were honoured.
Guest artist Raquel Cole started the evening off with a solo set of original and known songs along with her guitar. After a break for set up, the Washboard Union hit the stage and as they say “the joint was rockin'”. Their upbeat music literally had people dancing in the aisles. This band is a treat if you ever get a chance to see them.
