I Mother Earth

I Mother Earth, founded by brothers Christian and Jag Tanna, emerged from Toronto’s vibrant club scene in the early 1990s and quickly became one of Canada’s most celebrated rock bands. After just 10 shows, they signed a landmark deal with Capitol Records USA.

Their first two albums, Dig and the triple platinum Scenery & Fish, produced numerous Top 10 hits including “Rain Will Fall,” “One More Astronaut,” “Another Sunday” and “Used to Be Alright,” along with fan favourites such as “Earth, Sky” and “C.”

After a successful run with singer Brian Byrne, the band reunited with original vocalist Edwin in 2016 for a 25th anniversary tour of Scenery & Fish. The reunion sparked a new chapter for I Mother Earth, who continue to bring their distinctive psych-rock sound and celebrated catalogue to stages across Canada.
